AIMEE ODEH, DIRECTOR OF MCCULLOUGH ORCHESTRAS

Mrs. Odeh graduated with a Bachelor’s in Music from The University of Texas of the Permian Basin in 2016. Her first teaching position was as the assistant to Aaron Michaelson at The Woodlands HS. Upon finding out that the orchestra position at McCullough JH would be opening, Mrs. Odeh jumped at the opportunity to teach one of the best JH orchestra programs in the state of Texas! Under the direction of Mrs. Odeh, the McC Orchestra program has continued their streak of excellence by winning first place in the Texas Renaissance Festival, earning Superior ratings for “Best in Class” and “Overall Outstanding Orchestra” at the Showcase of Music, and earning Superior ratings at the UIL Concert & Sight-Reading contest every year.

ESTEFANIE ORTIZ, ASST DIRECTOR OF MCCULLOUGH ORCHESTRAS

Ms. Ortiz is a recent graduate from the SHSU School of Music. She has utilized every opportunity available to gain hands on teaching experience! While student teaching at Krimmel INT, She formed and taught their very first Cello Choir. Estefanie assisted Mr. Carlos Lara with Opus 99 during the 2022 school year. She was even able to join McCullough’s very own EOY Social & Concert! In her free time, Estefanie plays alongside her community orchestra. She enjoys singing in Spanish and Portuguese, and is currently learning various Latin dances. Estefanie is also a fan of baking!
