CISD 9th and 10th Grade Honor Orchestra
CISD 9th and 10th Grade Honor Orchestra 9th and 10th graders have the opportunity to audition for the CISD HS Honor Orchestra in October. This an event designed to help young high school students gain confidence and experience in taking auditions. If a student makes it into the group, they will have a clinic and concert, where they will work with other students from across the district.

Solo and Ensemble Contest
UIL Solo and Ensemble Competition is in early February. It is time to start picking what you would like to perform.
All solos and ensembles MUST be from the Texas Prescribed Music List found at: https://www.uiltexas.org/pml/
Directors will help students pick ensembles, if they are interested in performing an ensemble. Students wanting to perform a solo should work with their private teacher to pick a an appropriate solo.

Rojos Y Verde Mariachi Ensemble
We are excited to announce the formation of a new Rojo y Verde Mariachi ensemble here at TWHS. All interested students, regardless of cultural background or experience level, are invited to join. Rehearsals are on Friday afternoons. https://www.facebook.com/twhsrojo
